Nadia’s classes are enriching in spirit, body & mind, allowing the former to pop out and the latter to calm down. Her Vinyasa Flow yoga asana style is mindful, creative, uplifting and energising. La Dolce Vita Yoga Holiday Retreat is also an unforgettable culinary experience.
Healthy, tasty & organic, these are the key words for the delicious vegetarian meals made by our wonderful local cook.
As we are in Tuscany, we do indulge in local cheeses, pasta, home-made bread, wines and other delights, so although our menu is not a strict cleanse, we do offer plenty of vegetables, seeds, legumes, salad, quinoa, fresh fruit picked up from our trees and yogurt.
Organic wine, extra virgin olive oil, yogurt, bread and honey are produced in the surrounding agricultural area and they're all served during our retreat. We do offer plenty of gluten free and vegan options as well.

The journey starts by walking along the vineyards, touching the grapes, smelling the nature while a guide explains a little about the process, the soil, the grapes and other curiosities.
It is followed by a visit to the canteen where all the wooden wine barrels are for a step by step explanation on how those grapes become wine and get into those bottles.
Finally, the tasting part - at sunset time on a spectacular outdoor table in the countryside, we try the red, the rose and the white...

In the holy town of Pomaia!
The retreat venue is only 4km away from the most important Buddhist Centre in Europe.
Since its founding in 1977, Lama Tzong Khapa Institute has grown into one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist Center in Europe.

This was my first time going to Italy so I figured why not do a yoga retreat and wanted to try one out. It was an amazing experience and met a lot of interesting people. Nadia was a great teacher and I learned a lot of new breathing techniques and some new poses. The class was challenging but not too much if you are a beginner. The location was perfect and so quiet and peaceful. The food and wine was delicious. I loved how intimate it was being in a small group and staying as a guest in her villa. I’d recommend anyone to go. Also the excursions were fun too! I’ll be reminiscing for a while.

I have just returned from a fantastic week in Tuscany. The location is absolutely breath taking and amazing and is full set up to have the most relaxing week. The pool is beautiful and there is even a little shaded area set back with hammocks swinging from the trees.
Nadia is a great host and you genuinely feel like you are guests in her home for the week. The food is incredible and made with such love, everything we ate was completely amazing.
The wine from the local Vin Yard that we also visited one evening was really lovely and I can't wait to have some shipped over to me soon.
Every morning started with two hours of yoga and breath work which was such a lovely and incredible way to start the day. Especially as the views from The Shala were so beautiful and the air so fresh. Nadia is a really great yoga teacher and you can't help but let her passion rub off on you.
All in all I couldn't recommend this retreat enough. It has the perfect balance of everything and really is La Dolce Vita.

From start to finish this was one of The best yoga holidays I have been on. The scenery was incredible along with the backdrop of the beautiful Tuscan hills it was amazing. The trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence were fantastic and not forgetting the wine tasting along with visiting the Buddhist monastery.
The yoga and meditation was brilliant and there is lots of added bonuses which the teacher brings from her teachings from India which were captivating.
I would highly recommend this yoga holiday as there is a great balance of yoga / days out as well relaxing with holistic treatments available. The food and wine are fantastic and meal times are lovely gatherings with lots of great and interesting people. I hope to be returning very soon thanks Nadia xx

This retreat experience has been one of my favorites. Super healthy delicious food, lots of activities and the magnificent Tuscan hills are a perfect backdrop. Nadia's teachings are deeply nurturing, cleansing and balancing. Her style has a wonderful flow, her energy is infectious. You can't help but leave this place somewhat wiser and more humble. Great location, fantastic yoga. Highly recommend!

I spent a week at Canneto Pomaia in June on La Dolce Vita Yoga and Wine Retreat. It was an amazing week with an amazing yoga teacher, Nadia Moon. The setting was unbelievably beautiful, the yoga both spiritually and physically nourishing. The hospitality, the homemade food, the accommodation were all outstanding. I would recommend without hesitation and will be returning again for another retreat.

I spent an amazing week here on the first yoga retreat run by Nadia who is an inspirational yoga teacher. The setting is truly beautiful, superb home cooked vegetarian meals from with many fantastic surprises. As well as yoga and meditation there were lovely treats – wine tasting, expert massage, trips to Florence, Pisa and Lucca ending with a sunset pizza and prosecco night prepared in their own pizza oven. In between there was sun, swimming, hammocks, stunning sunsets….We felt so welcome and loved by Nadia and her family. I can’t wait to go back.

This summer I went to the yoga retreat from Nadia Moon in Tuscany. She was an excellent teacher with a lot of patience and she could bring me in a smooth way much further and more relaxed in the yoga postures. I'm happy because I can do it now also myself. The yoga week was a perfect balance between excellent yoga classes, very good and with love cooked vegetarian meals, the enjoy of wine and culture and all this with a beautiful view on the landscape. Included was also the best fullbody massage I ever had! I also enjoyed the trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence, specially because off our friendly and gallant driver;-) I could forget my job at home completely and lost all stress."
About the bed and breakfast il Canneto di Pomaia; a perfect paradise. I had a nice singleroom with a big bed and lovely cosy furniture. The house had thick walls and the windows good shutters and insect screens so the room stayed nice cool and the windows good stay open in the night without any insects. I did't wake up at night once...I do at home.
Even with a group you can always find a nice quiet place to sit and enjoy the view. Also the swimmingpool is big enough and has all the things to make a luxurious sunbath.
A perfect stay and I really like to come back!

"Breakfast was fruit picked from the trees, cereals, yoghurt, biscuits, homemade jam, coffee, tea, juice. Lunch was salad, olives, a different homemade past each day (the best tomato sauce, pesto, gnocchi I've EVER had), homemade bread. Dinner - homemade soup (Tuscan bean, chickpea, carrot etc.), cheeses, homemade bread, frittatas, flans, quiches and the BEST Tiramisu ever tasted! Local Chianti, a homemade Limoncello one night."
"Prosecco and Pizza from the wood fired outside oven on the final night was one particular highlight. All eaten outside under the sun or stars."
"TRAVEL: I got a flight with BA from Gatwick to Pisa airport (and returned to Stanstead via Ryan Air). Good prices. Transfers from Pisa airport included- the driver was waiting for me on arrival (my luggage didn't arrive but this was all dealt with so nicely with someone picking up my bag later on in the day for me!). 1 hour lovely drive."
"DAILY SCHEDULE: This was perfectly balanced. 9am Yoga (I got up at 8am to read, write in my journal and enjoy the peace). Yoga until 10.30am. After Yoga breakfast was ready to eat outside. Free time until 1.30pm (I spent it lying on hammocks or by the pool reading)!. Beautiful lunch at 1.30pm, free time until 6pm (unless there was an excursion) and meditation at 6pm until 7.30pm. Dinner at 8pm. We usually chatted a little longer after dinner and people either went to bed, sat under the stars etc. "
"EXCURSIONS: were all very well chosen and timed. Florence was about 1 hr 20 min nice drive away and we had about 5 hours there. Some of us went off and had a nice leisurely lunch (pizza!) and then I went off and walked around. Some booked ahead to the galleries (recommended) but you need a few hours. Pisa and Lucca were done in an afternoon (the latter is a walled city and very special). I went to the beach in the afternoon on the final day (optional). Wine Tasting at the local vineyard was my favourite night. It wasn’t rushed, just a leisurely walk around the vineyards with a great step by step explanation from the lady at the Vineyard. We sat for hours on a table overlooking the sunset trying the white, rose and red wines. We all brought some too! "

"YOGA/MEDITATION AND THE TEACHER: Nadia is an incredible teacher. She takes the time to explain why you are doing what you are doing! I’ve never had that in a yoga before – I’ve never understood why I am breathing a certain way (and how to do it correctly and why it helps). Understanding it is the first part, and then the practice makes more sense and becomes easier."
"I'm not a regular to Yoga but this is for ALL Levels so you can stretch yourself as far as you want. There is NO pressure at all in the classes. By the end of the week I was much stronger, better at balancing and pushed myself a little further. "
"I struggled with the meditation at first as I am awful at sitting still (and my mind races a lot). Again, Nadia guides you through it so it becomes easier. On day 1 I was fidgety and my mind was racing, my legs kept getting numb. By the end of the week I was amazed at how long I could sit still and how still my mind was. Since I’ve been back I’ve done a little every day and it’s been so much easier. "
"Whatever level you are at with yoga/meditation this is a perfect retreat to learn, improve and pick up some spiritual guidance. We did a new moon gratitude ceremony which was lovely, everyone on the retreat was kind, like-minded and fun. All of us had arrived alone but left as friends and will stay in touch. "
